Travelling Through

Taken walking through the slums of Calcutta after spending the morning working in Premdan, one of the homes set up by Mother Teresa. The area is rarely visited by foreigners. It is likely this child has never had his photo taken. I barely stopped to take the photo. I literally was travelling through.

I am continuely fascinated by the cameras ability to make someone/something immortal. To pick one 'moment' out of so many and hold it high. I am deeply humbled by this. This 'mystery' is so much larger than myself yet I am able to take part.
